The driver make a lot of unnecessary stop, what should have been 6 hours turn into 7 hours. Wasting a lot of time. Not sure if because the car have problem or something

I was sat behind the driver, talking to my friend at a normal volume. He then held a sign up to us, which said that must remain completely silent through our the trip. I have travelled with this company lots of times before and never had this.
